Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football, who was a part of the National Football League. He spent 17 years in the field. He is considered to be one of the top tight ends in history. Additionally, he was the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third place in total receptions, Gonzalez was also the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End currently works as a FOX Sport studio analyst. Gonzalez is a regular on FOX NFL KICKOFF from the start of the 2017 NFL season. The show, which lasts for an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays, at 11 AM ET during the NFL Season.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract for the Falcons with a two-year term and $14 million on March 15, 2013. This despite having stated that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire at the end of football season of 2013. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012, as did Gonzalez (37 years old) played last season as the one of the NFL's top receivers.
